"If the Lord hadn't rested on the seventh day, he probably would've created his own band. Don't despair, A Day's Work takes on this brave task and succeeds with five stars." We wouldn't dare to put it like that, but we can't resist taking over this quote from OOR magazine. This is one of the great responses we got concerning the album "A Home in the Rain" that A Day's Work released in September 2006. Daily newspaper 'The Almaarsche Courant' called it "A surprising, new and original sound. (...) And all this is carried by beautiful singing and inventive guitar- and drumwork." And on 'www.melodic.net ‘ they are brief: "A true masterpiece." How about this news: A Home In The Rain has got it’s successor now. “Remember The Unknown” is A Day’s Work’s new EP. Frontman of the band is singer Paul Glandorf. He is praised for his warm, bright voice and his expressive stage presentation. Johannes de Boom, former frontman of rockband 'The Shavers' said at the finals of the 'Westfriese Popprijs': 'If there will be a 'Zilveren Harp' (a Silver Harp, a Dutch Popaward) this year for best singer, I would highly recommend Paul from A Day's Work as possible winner'. Live on stage, A Day's Work always brings a truckload of energy. And that hasn't remained unnoticed... A Day's Work has opened up shows for bands like Snow Patrol (UK), Racoon (NL), Golden Earring (NL), Riverside (PL) and Living Colour (USA). And legendary rockband Marillion (UK) has personally invited A Day's Work to tour with them through Europe. Discography A Day's Work released it's new EP ‘Remember The Unknown” on April 10th 2010. This EP contains five powerful rock songs, catchy melodies and high-energy New-wave orientated songs.
