Simon Baring has worked closely with people like Nano Records, Glade Festival & Twisted Records between 2004-2008. In December 2006, after an impressive gig in Switzerland in front of 1000 people and Twisted label owner, Simon Posford (Shpongle, Hallucinogen, Younger Brother), he was made an official Twisted DJ. Since starting out he’s played in the USA, Israel, Russia, Canada, Luxembourg, Ibiza, Morocco, Costa Rica, Greece, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Finland and Hungary with more bookings pouring in all the time. Widely acclaimed wherever he’s played, the gigs keep getting bigger and better! It’s been a meteoric rise in the short time he’s been on the circuit. He left Twisted in 2008 and now is concentrating on his Minimal Mayhem sound. Although he still plays some Twisted material in his sets, he is now concentrating more on the techier end of things. He plays everything and anything that will mix together. Bits of techno, electro, tech house, minimal, progressive and psychedelia. A non conformist, he likes to keep the dancefloor guessing. Whilst floating between the genres he still keeps it deep, driving, sexy and psychedelic. He is hard at work in the studio writing his own material so you’ll be able to book him for a LIVE set very soon.
