A Me B is a young up & coming artist about to break through the UK Urban scene! When aged only 17, Amy was already described 'as a polished act' by BBC Introducing, real name Amy Burns has been producing and writing her own material since the age of the 12. Her musical style is distinctive and unique, incorporating deftly delivered rhymes and catchy hooks for a commercial sound hard to resist. Effectively still learning her trade Amy has caught the attention of the industry and is now signed to the label Affinity Entertainment with an album release due in 2011 and a forthcoming single release this year. In addition to this she will also be producing and writing for other artists on the label as well as her own material. From only gigging since May 2009 at the age of 16, in such a short space of time she has worked herself through some amazing venues and now performing regular at venues such as: Night and Day, Manchester Academy, Club Academy and the O2. She has recently performed on the BBC stage at Salford’s un convention event and supported London’s Mobo award winner Akala at Manchester Academy and also Tinchy Stryder at the 02 Academy in Liverpool. Tipped for 2011 by BBC Introducing and Designer Magazine, Amy has also been selected to attend a BBC Masterclass in London at the well known Maida Vale and Abbey Road studio's to work and learn with some of the big names in the industry.
