DJ Adam F (Born in Liverpool, England) is a jungle/drum and bass producer and DJ. His father pop singer Bernard William Jewry, known as Alvin Stardust. Adam F's breakthrough hit was the techstep single Metropolis/Mother Earth, released in 1997 on the Metalheadz record label. He signed to the EMI label in the UK and in 1998 won a MOBO award for his debut album Colours, containing the UK Top 20 hits Music in my Mind, Circles and Brand New Funk. He has also found success in the field of hip hop, primarily with his collaborative musical effort KAOS - The Anti-Accoustic Warfare. He has worked with rapper LL Cool J and Missy Elliott. He produced tracks on L.L Cool J's first No:1 USA Billboard album. He is also founder and co-owner of the UK independent record label Breakbeat Kaos who signed Pendulum and released the platinum selling album Hold Your Colour, as well as singles and albums from Chase & Status and The Brookes Brothers. Adam has composer credits in several films, including "Ali G Indahouse". Adam also has 8 gold discs and 2 platinum awards to date. In 2010, Adam is working with Redman and Nick Halkes (aka Horx), the man who launched both XL Recordings and Positiva. It was Nick who originally signed Adam to Positiva.
