Born in Norfolk, UK to Scottish and English parents, Andy now living in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Andy is the head of the experimental record label Focused Silence and he is a sound artist in his own right. Preferring the maximalist side to Field Recordings - he has been described as "Difficult to dislike" by the press.
