April Maze are a soulful trio that bring together guitar, cello, vocal harmonies, charango, lap steel, congas, drums and didge to tell their tales. The diverse sounds of this dynamic 3-piece are hard to place in a box. People have likened them to artists as various as Gomez, The Waifs, Blue King Brown, Norah Jones, Angus and Julia Stone, and even Pearl Jam! These varied comparisons are largely due to April Maze’s versatility through instrument swapping, prominent male and female vocals, and an honest open stage presence. April Maze have just finished recording their Debut Self-titled EP and will be touring it around the country in 2008/2009.
