1. Area 52 is a Reading, UK based rock band formed in 2013, comprising Rose(vocals), Katie, Cat, George and Max.
2014 saw the release of their single 'Revolution' and EP 'Red Room' recorded at Silver Street Studios in Reading.
'What do you Want? was recorded at London's Abbey Road Studios and produced by Mark 'Tufty'Evans is out 9th March 2015. Their video achieved 10,000 views in the month before release.
'Carry On' their second Abbey Road track(release date tbc) Was Radio 1 Huw Stephens' pick of the week w/c 2nd March 2015, played by Tom Robinson BBC 6 Music and across the country's local BBC network & indie radio stations.

2. Area 52 is a Gibraltar formed from the ashes of two bands from Gibraltar Melon Diesel & Reach. Melon Diesel signed to Sony Records Spain,(now Sony BMG Spain) becoming one of the top rock bands in the Spanish Music scene. They supported acts such as R.e.m, Manic Street Preachers, Oasis, Courtney Love's band Hole, Placebo and many more. Their estimated sales surpassed 200,000 copies. Extracted from their first album in 2001 they reached the top spot in the Spanish charts with the song "Quiero un camino"(Find a way).With album No. 2 they had 3 top 20 hits and with their last album in 2003, they had 2 top 10 hits. Reach on the other hand was signed to RCA Records Spain and released an album which they toured extensively throughout Spain supporting major Spanish acts.
Area 52 is a three piece alternative rock band, comprised of Stephen Mclaren: Vocals & Guitar, Guy Palmer: Bass & Vocals, Adrian Pozo: Drums. Their sound can be described as fresh, energized in your face rock, with a rhythm section which is original, unpredictable and steady as clockwork, couple this with direct meaningful and compromising lyrics, clever melodies and guitar work and you come up with the secret to the Area 52 sound.
They now have now recorded there 1st album with producer Danilo Ballo in Turin Italy and are in the process of negotiating a record deal.
