After an impressive string of performances that had seen this talented trio perform alongside the likes of Delphic, Chew Lips, Two Door Cinema Club, Everything Everything and Your Twenties (to name a few), you are sure to hear more from the Southern threesome with their combination of smoldering vocals, soaring synths and quick fire, and no-holds-barred guitar licks. Arp Attack started their musical travels under the name 'Jazica'. After 2 years developing through constant live performances, Just Jack caught onto the bands original sound and pushed them through to the finals of the prestigious Road to V competition at Brighton 's Great Escape Festival. An exciting summer, which included TV appearances and a photo shoot with the NME ended with the band supporting the likes of Delphic, Two Door Cinema Club and Everything Everything. 2010 saw South Live's Phil Jackson playing their song 'Illusions' (a quirky electro rock monster) regularly on his show and a few impressive live sessions for BBC radio led them to a slot at T in the Park 2010 on the BBC Introducing Stage. This helped them do something they'd been wanting to do for a while, change their name. They became Arp Attack and went to T in the Park feeling like a new band. A month after T in the Park and Arp Attack's live performance was still in the 10 most viewed videos on the BBC Radio 1 website. This attracted a new wave of gig promoters and landed them more high profile shows. A support slot at The Cellars in Portsmouth unknowingly showcased them to Graffiti 6's record label, NW Free Music. Impressed by their live performance they now have Arp Attack recording their debut EP at Dean Street Studios, Soho. Arp Attack is: Frankie Murdoch - Grew up in West London and moved down south be closer to sea and study at Audio Technology. She likes to dance like a silly, take pictures and sing songs as well as finding the most exciting new music. Chris Smallwood - From a small town in the Midlands moved south to escape the quiet country life. An avid gig goer, film fanatic and comedy eccentric as well as a wizz on the guitar and synths. Kevin Jones - Born and bred down South, musically educated in the East. A fan of theatre and timeless rock but a weird and wonderful indie kid at heart. He bangs the drums. Hard.
