Ayre Point are a five piece indie rock band from Bristol, UK. Three members (frontman Dan Morgan, Tom McAndrew and Ian Pring) met at university in Bristol. After picking up guitarist Billy Smith, they started performing as four piece, until vocalist/pianist Richard Wilks joined in 2011, since which the band have been performing live. Their debut EP, "Finding Footprints" was released on November 11, 2012 followed by a UK Tour in December 2012. "Layering a wide range of guitar (and vocal) techniques, while referencing a host of genres from country to math, Ayre Point show tremendous technical ability without ever diluting their pop sensibilities.
