Beautiful Boy was born in a bedsit on Holloway Road, North London. Singer Dane Etteridge spent several months writing and demoing a handful of songs in the very modest north London surroundings with the intention of starting a new band. The songs were soon heard by drummer and close friend; Simon Goldring, who quickly instilled confidence in the music and encouraged the idea of putting the band together. Soon after, Old friends Joseph Heaselgrave (Guitar), Greg Bishop (Bass) and Tom Beck (Organ/Keys) came together on the ground of common musical interest and intent. The quintet then spent a lot of their time in a rehearsal space and started to refine the songs that had been written, after several months and a couple of recording sessions, the collective starting piecing everything together to make the band a real entity. Beautiful Boy are now based along the south coast of England. The band has been in public existence since late August 2013 when they debuted their song ‘Home’. They then followed this by a live acoustic rendition of there song ‘Begging the Moon’. The band is visually represented by their artwork.
