Beauty & the Beat are a back to back DJ-team, music producers and remixers and a married couple also known as individual artists Sally Doolally and Goetzlich. They have been playing as a team for over 4 zears but have solo careers as DJs of 10 and 15 years. They have played as Beauty and the Beat on some of the most important international festivals of the world like Fusion (Germany), Rainbow Serpent (Australia) and Soulclipse (Turkey) - as well as at plenty of clubs in places like Melbourne, Bali, Lisbon, Vienna, Zurich, Copenhagen and Berlin. In 2005 they released their first mixed CD on Universal Music called Wonderland - The Festival Compilation, a double CD compiled and mixed by Beauty & the Beat. In 2007 the follow up to this popular series was released by them, this time on European Dance Recordings. 2006 was the year which saw Beauty & the Beat moving forward with their music productions and teaming up with their good friend Nuke in the studio to win the Vibrasphere remix competition of Floating Free from over 400 entries, to have it released as their debut 12" in Feb 2007 on Tribal Vision Records. The winning combination of Beauty & the Beat featuring Nuke have since also released on SOG, Iboga, Echoes and Blue Tunes as well as other remixes for Tribal Vison. Sally has been a professional Dj touring the world since 1998 and is the Label Director and Label DJ for Plastik Park Records, the sub label of Sprout Music which belongs to D-Nox. Sally represents both Sprout & Plastik Park in her worldwide DJ appearances. Beauty & the Beat are also label DJs for Plastik Park Records. Sally is equally well known behind the scenes as up front, for stage management, artist booking and event production. Goetz fills his days as a Media Designer specialising himself in Flash and animation. He has been DJing for over 15 years and producing music for almost as long. He is a resident DJ on 2 German party crews, as well as having a long history of throwing his own parties and working in event production along side Sally.
