There are 2 bands known as Beauty School Dropout: 1) Beauty School Dropout were a pop punk band from Glasgow formed in 1995. During their 6 years together the band toured the UK several times, appeared on various compilations and released a full length album entitled "Teasing the Fat Kids". Before they Split in 2001, 5 new songs were recorded which were to remain shelved for the next 2 years before being released as part of the Boss Tuneage Instant Singles vol 2 CD. Fast forward to the end of 2009 and a brief re-union involving 2.5 rehearsals and a single day in the Studio resulted in 3 new songs being recorded. Together with the long out of print compilation tracks and the Instant Singles vol2 recordings these new songs will be released as Palookaville (A Retrospective) through Boss Tuneage Records on Febuary 15th 2010. 2) A Los Angeles-based rock band that started releasing music in 2020.
