I have a pounding headache and I can't sleep. It's 4:32am, maybe it was all the booze or a lack of nutrition that has rendered me wide awake. I'm thinking about my Bobby Brown "My Prerogative" cassette i had in third grade. I remember thinking how primitive it was. My mothers' Bob Seger Cd's sounded so much crisper. There was very little space between the songs and the hiss was gone. It's funny how cassettes have made a come back in current forms of media. Everyone's screamin', "check out my tape, or download my album". I miss skating to the record store to see what had come in and what new music I was gunna come across that I just had to have. O-well, what can we say, "times have changed". My friends use to call me Nathan, I used to get teased with the name Big Ears, because my ears stuck out. Now my friends call me Bonk. Times keep on changing, I guess. All these damn names and nicknames, all these downloadable mp3's, all these cassettes, No wonder my headache isn't dissipating. My name is Nathan Lee Joyner // Big Ears // Bonk // King Honky Tonk Thee Worse, and I am a music lover.
