At that point they chose the name BLATOIDEA, inspired by the latin word indicating the name of the species in which cockroaches are included to. The name is a metaphore to nowadays society. Doesn't matter how much you struggle to get a better position into the system, how many wars we win or we lose, we are all on the same level, same race, same species, all nothing but cockroaches to the eyes of who controls the entire thing and in the same way they can get rid of all of us.
They recorded their first demo "start an Infection" containing 8 tracks, which has been made public only by the web. Few months after, Fabrizio (Drums) joins the band by which who they can set up their first tour in Italy. Afterwards the three original members decide to move in London where after few mounths later luke (Drums) joins the band who gets the band back playing on stages. After a long series of shows around london sharing the stage bands like GBH, Anti Nowhere League,English Dogs, The Restarts, SIck on The Bus, Angelic Upstarts, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, 999, DIscharge, The Varukers, Vice Squad, Red Flag 77 they finnally decide to record a new 4 tracks EP called "Alive". The Ep make the band travel around Europe and in the December 2011 they decide to record their first 11 tracks album called "Infected".
