Fronted by singer Chele Willow, formerly of Las Vegas, and playing a lively mixture of folk, rock, blues and Americana style, BorderLine Crossing is based in Warwickshire,UK. Their line-up sees the return to an essentially acoustic sound that has proved popular at folk clubs and festivals. Their repertoire encompasses the influences of blues, soul, west-coast rock and traditional American music and includes a number of self-penned material alongside classics first recorded by Billie Holiday, Townes van Zandt, Patti Scialfa, Jackson Browne and Amos Lee. Chele Willow's 'honey & lemon' vocals (as described by one reviewer) is accompanied by the versatile guitar arrangements from her husband, musician and songwriter Pete Willow, stunning lead and side guitar work by Dave Cook and thoughtful and highly accomplished playing of acoustic and electric bass by Pete Townsend. Their new EP can be purchased at their offical website, www.borderlinecrossing.com.
