CAMP STAG are a band from Stoke-on-Trent. Their debut single Sirens (April 2012) quickly caught the ear of BBC DJs Huw Stephens, Greg James and Tom Robinson, earning them a slot on the BBC Introducing stage at 2013’s Glastonbury Festival. In the mean time, they released an EP When The Lights Come Down (October 2012) and a second single Walking With Broken Bones (May 2013). During 2013, they were invited to support The 1975, Liam Fray and Dry The River among others, and appeared at Tramlines, Kendal Calling and Belladrum festivals. In 2014, between gigs supporting the likes of Jimi Goodwin, slots at Liverpool Sound City and a headline appearance at Y Not Festival, they released their third single Hide & Seek (May 2014) and have been preparing their new EP Leviathan ready for release in September 2014. CAMP STAG are great" — Clint Boon, XFM "This budding UK band found a way to make the sound of city streets closing in on you infectious and worth repeating" — Undergroundmusic.fm "Serving up luscious vocals with pretty, progressive rhythms and seismic bass grooves ... enough dynamic shifts to get the foot tapping, while hammond organs are as at home as a candyfloss at a fair" — Stoke Sounds "[Sirens] saunters in with monotone synths and crisp percussion before building up with guitar then taking off with a massive burst of energy that begs for volume" — Indie30 "Sirens, CAMP STAG’s new single, is one of those quiet-loud songs that suddenly mutates into a middle eight that you think you already know, but, apparently, don’t. Now that’s a good sign" — A New Band A Day
