There are at least four artists named Caroline: 1) A singer-songwriter from Okinawa, Japan. 2) A Finnish rock band. 3) A young Danish pop singer. 4) A French jazz band. 1) Caroline (Caroline Lufkin) is a singer-songwriter from Okinawa, and the younger sister of Japan-based artist Olivia. She debuted in 2005 under indie label Temporary Residence Ltd. with the single "Where's My Love". Her first album, "Murmurs", was released in March 2006. Caroline's songs combine electronica, pop, and ambient music. Besides Tommy the band consists of Simo (guitar), Ville (guitar), Samu (bass) and Henkka (drums). Their first mini EP "Stories of My Life" was released in February 2006 and the second "Go and Get Yourself a Gun!" in September 2006. Their blend of Jazz and independent rock is often compared to Jim Black's Alas No Axis.
