Cash Cows formed in 2004 at Newcastle University, comprising of Robbie Humphries (guitar, harmonica & vocals) and Brendan Rowley (double bass & vocals). They began as a successful busking outfit and quickly moved on to playing events in Newcastle and across the country. also supported Hayseed Dixie and Alan Fletcher (aka Karl Kennedy from Neighbours), and played sets at Sunrise, Big Green Gathering and Edinburgh Festivals.
