Hailing from a resurgent Bristol, Casino Trap formed after meeting on the Access To Music course in late spring 2011. By the autumn, the band were gigging regularly around town and quietly building a reputation for edgy, raw and emotive performances. Early recognition and plays from BBC Introducing adds to the notion that the band's combination of catchy pop writing and powerful delivery has instant appeal that belies their tender years. Now it's winter, and it sees the band working with renowned producer, Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Feeder, Twin Atlantic...) on their debut profile building release, 'Let You Go'. It is available 5th March 2012 via AWAL at iTunes, Amazon and all the usual online outlets as well as Band Camp and the band's Facebook page. The band are undoubtedly the natural heirs to such guitar-pop trail blazers as Ash, Blink 182 and Supergrass. And next year will see Casino Trap break out of the West. It looks to be a busy and fruitful one for them.
