Celtarabia

Celtarabia is an England-based group that plays world music drawing on Celtic, folk, didgeridoo, ambient and Arabian elements. The group uses a distinctive mix of ancient and modern instruments, including medieval and tribal instruments, and combines old tunes with strong rhythmic patterns.

The music is described as a cross-over style built around acoustic dance traditions from different cultures. It blends ancient melodies with beats designed for dancing, and the group presents its work as celebratory, energetic and rhythm-driven.

Celtarabia is also known for its live performances, which are associated with showmanship and musicianship. The band has built an audience across the UK and Europe through this performance-led approach.
