Chris Millington is a North Devon based folk singer-songwriter, who's dramatic and beautiful songs have seen him gigging across the UK and further. Originally from Manchester, he started his musical career by playing in local indie bands. A talented multi-instrumentalist, he is happy playing anything from the guitar to the squeezebox, the mandolin to the sitar. Chris has done everything from stand up comedy to teaching, but when you see him live you know his true place is on stage with a guitar. His traditional english folk songs often feature lyrics of the sea, religion, philosophy and Devon. He cites Show of Hands, Seth Lakeman, John Martyn, Nick Drake, Dick Gaughan and Michael's Bones as his main influences. www.chrismillington.com/ www.myspace.com/chrismillington
