Cold Fever

Cold Fever is the performance name of Bhumeet Kala-Lee, a UK-based artist from a small village in Leicester who is now based in London. He grows up around reggae through his father’s work as a manager for artists including Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown and Freddy McGregor, and he takes a strong interest in music from an early age.

Early development

He writes his first lyrics at the age of 11 and decides to pursue music as a career. Two years later, unable to find beats to rap or perform over, he begins making his own instrumentals. That leads him further into production and writing songs for other artists.

Work across media

Cold Fever is involved in a range of projects over his career, including theatre, radio and television. He also works as a producer and songwriter for artists at different levels and across a wide range of genres and projects. He is associated with Desi Reggae.
