A 5 piece band formed within the scenic and peaceful...trashy surroundings of Keighley/Bradford. Catchy hooks, driving powerful verses and instrumental work that will leave you salivating at the mouth. Formed in 2010 and quickly making a name for themselves in the local areas and beyond. Originally started back in 08/09 by Aaron Hetherington (ex-lead vocal and current guitarist) Danny Longley (Guitarist) and Jamie Brannan (Drummer). Had little success but gigged plenty at little events here and there also writing some of the songs which are still a staple in their set. After then bassist decided to quit, Dan Hyde was brought in as a replacement, soon after Antony Arcuri was brought in to complete the band as a 5 piece outfit. After much promoting and work in the studio with Dave Lawson (music producer guru) they are near to releasing their first EP currently and temporarily titled Boulevards To Battlefields. Control Is Dead can be caught live in areas of West Yorkshire and soon further beyond the region.
