Full website now available at www.cosmotheka.co.uk; on Facebook www.facebook.com/cosmotheka and on twitter @cosmothekamusic. Dave Sealey and his brother Al formed Cosmotheka in 1972. They named their act after a music hall, and that's what they did - collected and sang music hall songs. They did some of the well known ones, but also a lot of previously forgotten material, full of double meanings and general silliness. Their act was based on incredible speed and repartee beteen the two of them. They performed mainly in folk clubs. Al died in 1999 and Dave has been performing solo since then. UPDATE, June 2010: Dave is performing both solo (one-man shows about Max Miller and Stanley Holloway) and also with his son Dan (recreating the works of Cosmotheka) in several venues across this summer.
