After being accused by Senator McCarthy of having communist sympathies, Jack S. Slater, a talented engineer with tenure at MIT was forced to flee from this narrow-minded environment. While scanning the planet for a place of refugee, his gifted mind was brewing on a plan of revenge. After applying the most modern statistical methods in his quest of finding the most progressive place on earth, he laid his eyes on the city of Aalst, Belgium, the ideal site for preparing his plan: destroying Joseph McCarthy and the like. After numerous failed attempts and although McCarthy was already deceased, he managed to construct a beast from beyond, an hybrid which possessed the agility of a leopard combined with the sex appeal of the Venus de Milo. He named it: Darc. But Slater died soon after creating this monster. Due to a MacGyver overdose, the legacy of his father diminished, which led Darc to grow an impressive musical neck rug. But what few did realize was the enormous potential of this neck rug. Thanks to its vast and extended network, EPBJ-HQ was able to assess the skills that lay in this rug, which is until the present day still expanding. EPBJ is proud to present its first release, Darc’s Gormandizers EP, which does not only consist of two original slick Darc tracks, but also features two remixes by artists praised for their contribution of global moral decay, which EPBJ propagates since the first day of its conception.
