Deadwall formed in February 2011. A string of successful early shows led to a sell-out performance at Leeds' 360 Club, soon followed by local radio play. Performing as a five piece, they feature fiercely loud, wonderfully free guitars set against a versatile, compelling voice with glistening Hammond, rigid Mellotron, and a pulsating rhythm section. Their debut EP 'Four Songs by Deadwall', recorded with Steve Whitfield (The Cure, Yann Tiersen) was released February 2012 and is available as a free download from their bandcamp page (deadwall.bandcamp.com).
