Decomposing In Paris juxtapose atmospheric orchestral pop music with an adventurous spirit of sonic experimentation. The band was founded in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 2011 by Becca Hopkins (Extended Vocalist, Soprano), Aoife Lynch (Pianist, Drummer, Composer) and Garvin Clements (Guitarist, Bassist, Producer). Personal Ad... In 2012 Decomposing In Paris self-released a four track, debut EP. "Personal Ad" resulted in the band's first radio airtime on BBC Introducing, leading to a highly praised live performance as part of BBC Introducing, Live In Session. This was followed up with other radio play, many positive reviews, and a live streamed performance on GiftedLive.com. Falling in to the New World... In the Summer of 2013, Decomposing In Paris embarked on a tour of the USA, performing in classically famous haunts such as The Empty Glass (Charleston, WV), The Blind Tiger, (Greensboro, NC) and The Monkey Wrench (Louisville, KY). Cocoon... The 4th of April 2014 sees the release of the band's second EP. This will coincide with a fundraising event in aid of Hope For Justice, an anti-human trafficking charity.
