Born on the 3rd of April 1970 in Amsterdam, Marco Greven began spinning records at the tender age of 15. His musical tastes are eclectic, from Mantronix, Boogie Down Productions to U2, Depeche Mode and The Talking Heads....In 1988 he started spinning Acid-House, and branched out to varying styles, from New York house to Detroit techno and Ambient; and in 1992 finally bought his first set of Technics SL-1200's, and thus began a DJ career. DJ Griff has been on and off the turntables for over 20 years now. Spinning vinyl, Griff gets special attention for his seamless, artistic and smooth transitional style. His sound is an energetic and high-octane blend of deep, dark, sinister tribal techno (break) beats and big room anthems fused together to create an intense draught energy. This talent and professionalisme has taken him to Frisky Radio in 2002 where he is hosting The Deepest Level Show together with DJ @lias since 2005.
