Samuel Gionedis had his first contacts with music in his adolescence, trough piano, presenting in public auditions until fourteen years of age. In 2000, he enchanted up for Downbeat, his first passion in the electronic world. Living among the chill-out culture and researching about genres and artists, he started mixing with friends who where already Dj’s at the time. His Downbeat project derives from sources like: Nu Jazz, Hip Hop Abstract and Trip Hop. He started mixing professionally in 2007, invited by Beats Club, where he became the resident Dj. When playing Upbeat he follows an original sound line, transiting between Tech-House and Techno, with some minimalist influence. Had already presented alongside Djs like Ferris, Sasha Agram, Ale Reis, Shitsu & Spawn, Raul Aguilera, Southmen (Yoshitoshi), Gümix (G-Stone, Dub Club Vienna)... Dj Samo @ Myspace
