There are two artists with the name Enso. 1. A progressive house/electronic DJ/producer based in San Francisco, California (2010 - present). 2. A five-piece rock band out of Grand Rapids, Michigan (2005). 1. Known for their intricately crafted sets and impassioned live performance, Enso clearly love what they do. Their energy never fails to infect the audience and keeps them raging until long after the clubs close down. Blending together the gritty bass lines of electro with the sweeping melodies of progressive house, Enso is the musical project duo of DJ/Producers Derrick Calloway and Seth Warrick. Having establishing a name for themselves in Omaha, Enso brings a fresh perspective to the EDM scene in their new home, San Francisco. Enso broke into the scene in 2010 with their award winning remix of Sleigh Bells’ hit single “Run the Heart”. Since then, they have produced a series of tracks and have released their debut EP “Infinity” out Oct. 29, 2011 on Hollister Records. 2. Enso is a five-piece band out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The band consists of James Barbour (lead vocals), Kris Sosa (guitar, vocals), Rafael Ohli (guitar), Evan Bartlett (bass), and Zach Harthun (drums). The band is characterized by the structure of it's sound writing which brings in multiple genre's of influence and it's story influenced lyrics. Some of the members in the band have been a part of other bands like The Tide, The Skies Revolt, Still Deciding, Charles The Osprey, and Sweet Something Else. Enso draws roots from At The Drive-In, Norma Jean, Bear Vs. Shark, Paulson, Sparta, The Mars Volta, The Blood Brothers, and many more. Currently the only form of recording out by Enso are the demos recorded in late 2005, but with the band on indefinite hiatus there's no telling when they'll release anything new.
