Evaline play passionate, layered alt rock with polished studio recordings and an intense and enegetic live show. Fresh out of school, Evaline’s earliest recordings found their way to The Used’s Quinn Allman who produced the EP: Postpartum Modesty, A Portrait of Skin - released on Madonna’s Maverick label in 2006. This was followed by two Warped Tours and a Taste of Chaos tour, which quickly attracted a loyal and ardent fanbase in USA. During those two years, friend of the band, Greg Petersen, was added to the lineup. Greg replaced Steve Forrest on drums while Steve joined Placebo in the UK Now in their early twenties Evaline are Richard Perry, (Vocals, Cello and keys) Dominic DiCiano (Guitar), Steven Pedersen (Bass), Christian Lewis (Guitar) and the Petersen brothers Greg (drums) and Dan (guitar). After Maverick folded Evaline re-evaluated their sound and returned with a full quota of startling tracks, producing unrivalled rock songs using layered sounds, intense guitars and swooning vocals. In this time, Greg’s brother Daniel was added on baritone guitar. The first fruits of their labour were heard in the form of the powerful EP PATTERNED, which contains an introduction to the new EVALINE with the tracks: ‘Hours’, ‘Beneath the Fire’ and ‘Patterned’, released on iTunes in June 2010. In 2010 they tracked their debut album Woven Material with producer Dan Austin (Cherry Ghost, Doves) and also refined their highly energetic live show touring with bands as diverse as Deftones, Dredg, Neon Trees, Paper Tongues and Dir en Grey in the USA and Placebo and Young Guns in the UK. Woven Material is due for release in June 2011.
