Familieforetaket is a band from Stord in Hordaland, Norway. They started out in 2012, and on June 4th 2016 they released their debut album “Going North”. The name Familieforetaket (The Family Concern) comes from how being in a band in many ways is like being related. Always crowded when you travel, sleeping over at friends and relatives, once in a while getting on each others nerves, but most of the time just having a redicilously good time. After all: A band is family by choice! Familieforetaket is blessed with three singers. In addition to her own voice Cecilie Anna also writes for Vidar and Endres’ voice. This leads to a diverse musical expression, with references such as Leonard Cohen, PJ Harvey and Fats Domino.
