There are multiple artists called Fletcher. 1) Benjamin Fletcher was born in Paddington, Sydney, Australia. Growing up in a beach side suburb of Sydney Benjamin left high school at the age of 15 to become a founding member of rock and roll band Bluebottle Kiss. Benjamin played bass and guitar on 5 Bluebottle Kiss albums & various other releases including: (Higher Up The Fire Trails (1994), Double Yellow Tarred (1995), Fear Of Girls (1996), Somnambulist Homesick Blues (1997), Tapdancing On The Titanic (1998), Patient (1999), Revenge Is Slow (2002), Come Across (2004)). Bluebottle Kiss toured relentlessly throughout Australia, the USA and the UK. Benjamin started his own band The Devoted Few, as songwriter and vocalist, in January 2001. The band released 3 full length albums and an EP; (Sleepless (2002), Billboard Noises (2004), Baby, You're A Vampire (2009)) and (Schematic Tracks (2005)). The Devoted Few toured extensively around Australia with bands such as Dappled Cities, Sarah Blasko and Eskimo Joe. In 2004 Benjamin left Bluebottle Kiss to concentrate solely on The Devoted Few. In 2005 Benjamin joined acclaimed Australian singer Sarah Blasko's live band playing bass, guitar and keyboards. The Devoted Few was placed on hiatus in 2010 when Benjamin moved to London and continued touring Europe and the US with Sarah Blasko. In 2012 Benjamin recorded his debut solo album in London, Sydney and Stockholm. 2) Early 2000s London-based punk rock four-piece. An EP, 'Six Track Sound', was released on Deck Cheese. 3) Freddie Vernon, Alex Thomas, Charlie Martin, and Harry Johnson were Fletcher, a London-based rock band, from 2008 to 2013
