Forest Floors started life as a three piece with leader Jamie ski writing and bringing the band forward, however early studio recordings were tracked with 2 separate guitar parts meaning the band needed a second guitar player for live shows, this took shape and the band proceeded to play and record as a 4 piece for a little over a year and a half.
However the energy of the three piece was never there, so in late 2012 the band moved back to the old three piece set up and released their first studio single as a three piece "No Smoke" the single was self funded and recoded and tracked over the space of 5 days in a dark dingy rehearsal room in Portsmouth. The band are growing from strength to strength, and planning 2014 tours and a possible album in the pipeline.
