Fullness is drumer and instrumentalist, roots and dub reggae producer Gavin Sant. Creating heavywieght organic live and digital, original roots reggae music for soundsystem, and stereo. Fullness music is spiritual and positive, giving vehicle to only conscious and uplifting word. Based in Bournemouth, south coast UK. Playing music since a youth in orchestras, choirs and bands of various styles of music and with alot of good and bad musicians gave Gavin a solid foundation of musical knowledge and experience. In 1998 with Mark and Nik Shepherd hehelped to form reggae band Dubheart, he had been playing with the band for a few years learning more about the art of playing reggae music, and at the same time set up a small home project studio as an outlet for his own musical expression, so a few years later, in about 2005 he recorded and mixed his first album, for Dubheart 'From the mouth of the Lion', a five track instrumental album with dub versions. At the same time he had been recording and building his own roots and dub tracks, and had gained exposure and invaluable feedback showcasing my early works on reggae social networks like Versionist and RDW. It was about 2008 that he first met Izyah Davis and not long after set to work on what was to become his debut album 'Arise', that was released on Izyahs' new label Hytal Bosrah records on LP spring 2010. It was at that time that he also finished work soundproofing his new studio room and the first to voice a riddim in there was Wayne Mcarthur for the track 'Walk of life', which was to be released on Fullness's own label Karnatone. As well as the recordings mentioned here, Gavin has played horns, drum kit and kete drum sessions for other artists works, including Paul Foxs' album for Michael Rose 'Great Expectations' on which he played horns, as well as Pauls' own album 'Walls of Jericho' which featured a Fullness production 'No more fire' and dub. Fullness is available for remixing, special dubplates, sessions and collaboration on other roots music productions. Contact him directly here, or at his official website, www.fullness.co.uk .
