Biography Geoff Robb has many years of experience at providing background music for events. He started the guitar at the age of 11, and began making a living entirely from his music at the age of 18 whilst travelling in Europe as a street musician for 2 years. He studied classical guitarist under Paul Gregory (winner of the International Segovia Prize), and has had tuition from Gilbert Biberian, Gary Ryan, Roberto Aussell and Roland Dyens. (BBC Southern Counties)] He also has a diploma in Jazz, has studied with acoustic guitarist Eric Roche and has released 2 classical solo CDs. His next recording will feature his own compositions for solo guitar. Geoff has played concerts in the International Guitar Festivals of Great Britain, Nottingham and Lewes, performed with the legendary Herbie Flowers and supported many international touring acts including Eduardo Niebla, Clive Carroll, Tony McManus and Tony Cox (South Africa). He has performed as a soloist with The Bath Concertina Orchestra and enjoys regular concerts at festivals including Glastonbury, Edinburgh and Brighton where his shows are always a sell out. He has also given concerts in Ireland and Switzerland. Geoff is based in Sussex and makes a career through his music, playing concerts and recitals as well as providing beautiful music, both gentle and entertaining for Corporate Functions and Weddings.
