In the twelve-or-so months since deciding to record her first demo in her Aberystwyth living room, Georgia Ruth has barely had time to stop. Gaining the support of Adam Walton (BBC Radio Wales), Huw Stephens (Radio 1, C2) and Lisa Gwilym (Radio Cymru), her unique hybrid of folk and blues found a new audience on Glastonbury's BBC Introducing Stage. Georgia sings in Welsh and English, and has recently been accompanying cult dub-folksters, 9Bach, and Cardiff's The Gentle Good on tour. Beth Elfyn (Radio 1) : "a refreshing change from the constant stream of boy rock, and embodied the true spirit of Glastonbury..." Huw Stephens: "..beautiful love-lorn tunes..."
