Gerry And The Holograms were John Scott and C.P. Lee (a.k.a. Chris Lee of Alberto y Lost Trio Paranoias). They released two singles on the Absurd label in 1979. The first - "Gerry And The Holograms/Increased Resistance" - was a Residents-styled industrial record, using distortion and repetition. The second - "Emperor's New Music" was a conceptual joke since it was unplayable. The record actually consisted of a badly-pressed Slaughter And The Dogs single glued into the sleeve.
