Glass Mountain is a sublime hypnotic journey that one can easily get lost in. Toni D. Mellow often sounds like she has lived far beyond her own years, yet she is only 24. Her vocals tear at the soul in 'Ice Storm' as she ponders the nature of love and betrayal,"You curse everything you love, and no you can’t love me" she wails with heartfelt conviction. Jona Byron (the boats) is the creator behind this mountain, and his maturity as a singer/song writer and producer shine through. There is a fresh approach towards the material as he carefully melds together acoustic and organic with electronica. Glass Mountain is a beautiful collaboration between two artists who have weaved magic together for many years as solo performers, with Jona producing and recording most of Toni’s music.
