Graham Massey is the Mancunian DJ and composer/programmer who gained critical and commercial success with post-acid house electro band, 808 State. He was responsible for some of the most memorable acid house and techno tracks from the late 80s and 1990s. He started out as a founder member of Manchester post-punk band Biting Tongues, who were signed to Factory Records in the mid 1980s. After which he formed 808 State. He has remixed many artists, such as The Future Sound of London and New Order, and co-produced Bjork's debut solo album, Since then he has recorded with 808 State and has released several solo instrumental tracks.
