Head Of Light Entertainment are a four piece self styled "odd-pop" band from North East England. They've released two albums, both via their own Northern Round Square Records. I Am Liberated (2009) and The English Don't Care (2012) have been very well received, particularly in the murky world of underground pop, although they have started to pick up more attention of late through national airplay on BBC6 Music. Tom Robinson especially has been very vocal in his support. The band gig regularly in Teesside, Wearside and Tyneside, and have supported the likes of Beth Jeans Houghton, Hyde & Beast, Mark Morris and The Musgraves. Currently working on a third album (due for release in summer 2014), Head Of Light Entertainment are amongst the more interesting of the new crop of North East artists being touted by music and style blogs.
