Originally formed in 2004 as a post-hardcore band featuring Damien Chaney on Bass Guitar, Adam Thorne on Drums, Mitchell Powell on Lead Guitar and Scott Ward on Vocals , Hope Remains Lost have been providing Bristol music fans with mind blowing riffs, pounding drums, complex bass lines and raw emotion packed vocals for nearly six years. 2010 promises to be the year when Bristol takes over the national music scene and Hope Remains Lost are going to be running at the head of the pack. After a short Hiatus in 2008 HRL recruited James Pope on rhythm guitar to add a ‘Harder, Faster, Louder’ dynamic that their previous guitarist had been unable to provide. Along with this he brought a new energy to the band that pushes head first into their Live shows like never before. With a new E.P on the horizon, a mini-tour of the South West and regional festival appearances lined up HRL are looking to spread their music and their live charisma even further this year and prove to everyone that Bristol is the new music Mecca.
