There are at least two bands with the name I Spy: 1: I Spy, originally from Regina, Saskatchewan (and originally called "Clump") made Winnipeg their home in 1994. For the next two years, they made themselves living legends in the hardcore scene until they called it a day in the summer of '96. (Todd the Rod now plays in Propagandhi.) Besides being one of the funnier cast of characters in existence to thrash audiences into the ground with their raw, full throttle recordings and ever rawer, fuller-throttle live shows, you also got some of the most sincere, "lump in the throat, this planet stinks and we gotta figure out how to change it but we gotta keep thrashing too" words ever put to paper. Straight from the heart, spot-on politics and raging melodic hardcore delivered with a sense of humour not unlike that of a troubled 10-year old who needs her/his mouth washed out with a stiff bar of Nature Clean. Taken from http://www.g7welcomingcommittee.com 2: A dutch pop band who recorded two albums: 'The Crystal Fire' and 'Kite'. Their highest chart hit was 'The International Feel' from the first album. In 2007 members of I Spy and Weekend At Waikiki joined forces to form a new band called Radio Orange. More info at www.radioorange.com
