Jack Whitehall (born July 7th, 1988) is an English comedian and television presenter, best known for hosting the E4 show Big Brother's Big Mouth in 2008, Celebrity Big Brother in January 2009 and new Channel 4 topical entertainment show the TNT Show. In 2008 Whitehall presented two weeks worth of Big Brother's Big Mouth on E4. He returned to present the show full time in the 2009 series of Celebrity Big Brother.[3] Whitehall has appeared on various other Channel 4 shows, including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Tonightly and The Sunday Night Project.[4] And Big Brothers Big Quiz. On Thursday 11th June 2009 his television series TNT Show with Holly Walsh began on Channel 4. A Second series has been signed by Channel 4. Whitehall won Amused Moose Laugh Off 2007, and was runner-up in the Laughing Horse New Act of The Year competition, a finalist in So You Think You're Funny?, and winner of the Charlie Harthill Special Reserve in the same year. He was also nominated for best newcomer in the 2008 Chortle Awards[5] and finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year. Throughout August 2009, Jack will be performing his first solo stand up show, Nearly Rebellious, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He says that Bill Hicks, Stewart Lee and John Gordillo have all inspired him.
