James Frost is the gitarist from The Automatic from 2002 to present. He was born in Cardiff, Wales, in 1986. He's musical instruments are: Guitar, Vocals, Synthesizers Frost began playing guitar at a young age, and after introducing band mate Robin Hawkins into music and the bass guitar Frost and Hawkins along with friend Iwan Griffiths formed the band White Rabbit (not the Liverpool-based psychedelic), which later with the addition of Alex Pennie became The Automatic. Frost currently is one of the bands two guitarists after keyboardist Alex Pennie left the band in 2007, he and the new guitarist Paul Mullen both take on the responsibilities of playing synthesizers and keyboards during live performances, Frost also provides backing vocals in all tracks in the first album Not Accepted Anywhere. In 2006's NME "cool awards" Frost was voted number 20 in the list, beating at the time band-mate Alex Pennie. During the bands well known GMTV performance he accidentally injured a cameraman during the performance, in which himself and Pennie took to smashing their equipment.
