At the helm of one of the most exciting club nights to emerge in recent times, Jaymo & Andy George have crafted a brand that stands for cutting-edge music and sleepless nights.
Their Moda parties have simply exploded, growing from a few hundred people in a dimly lit bar to 1600 punters raving hard in a massive warehouse! They were even awarded 4th best UK club night 2008 by the dance oracle Mixmag!
Their captivating performances of mash-up Electro, Disco, House, Techno & Indie have won them an army of international fans, from credible scenesters to straight-up party people!
In April 2008 Jaymo & Andy became two of the youngest people to ever record a live Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, quickly caught the attention of the stations bosses.
Fast forward to October 2008 and the duo have their very own Radio 1 show-taking the Moda sound to millions of listeners around the globe! Crafted with the sole intention of fronting the world’s coolest music, the show is as fun and unpredictable as their rumbustious DJ sets!
After less than 6 months on air, Jaymo & Andy have fast become a part of the fabric at Radio 1. As well as broadcasting their shows live, they regularly cover and co-host with the likes of Annie Mac, Kissy Sell Out, Vernon Kay & Zane Lowe, as well as reporting from major BBC events such a One Big Weekend & Creamfields.
Their flair for presenting has seen their fanbase explode & their careers quickly progress – with further radio & TV projects around the corner!
As Producers Jaymo & Andy have been responsible for a string of massive club tracks, Their remixes for Miike Snow, Kidda & Ash have gained instant support from the likes of Fake Blood, Annie Mac, Crookers, Kissy Sell Out, Jack Beats, Armand Van Helden & many more!
And, as if broadcasting to the millions and running one of the country’s most successful and exciting club nights wasn’t enough, Moda Music, their new record label, will provide a vehicle for their debut EP later in 2009 as well as unearthing some of the hottest new producers and bands the music scene has offer…All just in time for an epic Winter tour schedule with Kissy & Ko, Zane Lowe & of course their very own Moda!
