Jenny Said Yes will be playing at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town on the 25th January. Jenny Said Yes claim to write music that resonates with Londoners. The line up is Dora Lam on lead vocals, acoustic guitar, glockenspiel, Ben Todd on guitars and backing vocals, Adrian Barker on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Jane Cocklin on drum kit and percusssion. They can regularly be seen and heard in the north London area where they formed, (they initially rehearsed at the infamous "Alexander House", Tufnell Park). The band began originally as a purely acoustic band performing exclusively with Jane on a Cajon. In Sept 2011 they decided to increase the versatility of the band by adding a drum kit. First performance with drums was in December at Camden Rock with promoter's "Zarathustra" who had enthusiastically supported the band since the beginning. "(Jenny Said Yes) hone in on concepts of home, belonging, doubt and loneliness," Soundspray. In 2012 the band played at 93 Feet East, Nambucca, Powers Bar, The Black Heart, Proud Galleries, The Slaughtered Lamb, Camden Rock, Wenlock and Essex, the Lock Tavern and numerous festivals. www.jennysaidyes.co.uk is the official website for Jenny Said Yes
