Before J.E.P.H. stood for anything, he was Jeffrey from Baltimore City, Maryland. Growing up as the youngest son of a West-African father and a White-American mother initially discouraged him from expressing his artistic side to his peers, afraid that he would be stereotyped and misunderstood. He eventually fell in love with the music of Hip-Hop after listening to albums from Wyclef to Eminem, and began writing and beatboxing. He chose the name "Jeph" to represent anything artistic that comes from Jeff, implying that even though he may visually appear different, he is really the same individual when heard, and vice versa. Jeph continues to develop his talents, with goals of adding a new standard of quality, sincerity, and bangin music for the next generation of Hip-Hop.
