There appear to be multiple artists with this name: (1) Jimmer Podrasky. Former front man of The Rave-ups from Pittsburgh, PA is back after a 23 year absence with a fantastic solo album, The Would-Be Plans, produced by Mitch Marine and featuring Brian Whelan, Ted Russell Kamp, Rami Jaffee, Jonathan Clark, Marty Rifkin, Mark Dutton, Jordan Katz, Sarah Taylor and Terry Wilson in addition to Jimmer and Mitch. (2) Jimmer's short-lived music career began in early 2006 and ended three months later after a rollercoaster success story. The international acceptance of his one and only hit 'How Much?' shot him to superstardom but also landed him with an extreme heroin addiction. After several short-lived rehabilitation attempts, which were mostly funded by his mother's prostitution ring, Jimmer descended into a downward spiral of relentless addiction. 3 months after the initial release of 'How Much?' Jimmer was found dead in his London hotel room after a massive heroin overdose. (3) ??
