There are two artists by the name Jinder: 1. (Josefine) Jinder is a 20 year old Stockholmer and has been doing shows on her own in Stockholm, Helsinki, Berlin & New York but since travelling, living and beeing is awfully boring on your own a band was formed. Now you’ll see Jinder (or Little Jinder) as a group of three people: Josefine Jinder, David Lindh and Johan Cederberg. Youth Blood 12" is out in November 2009 on Trouble & Bass Recordings. Full length will drop in 2010. 2. Jinder is a singer/songwriter in his late 20's, based in the UK. Having released five critically acclaimed albums since 2002, Jinder is set to release new album 'Nine Cents From Benelux' on 29th June 2009. Formerly the frontman of Sony BMG recording artists The Mercurymen, Jinder describes himself as an "international road dog", having spent the last eight years touring almost constantly, playing over 1200 live shows throughout the UK, Europe and the US. Jinder is a prolific songwriter, both as a recording artist and a songwriter for other artists, and has written for/with and recorded with the likes of Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue), Hank Marvin (Shadows), Henry Priestman (The Christians, Yachts, Its Immaterial), Jason Donovan, Elysium III, Graham Gouldman (10CC) and many more. Significant influences include Townes Van Zandt, John Martyn, Robert Wyatt and The Blue Nile.
